Engineering 101!!! 🆃🅾🅾🅻🅱🅾🆇 A 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙗𝙤𝙭 meeting in engineering, often referred to as a "𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙗𝙤𝙭 talk" or "safety briefing," is a short, focused meeting that takes place within a work environment, such as an industrial setting. Its purpose is to discuss specific safety issues, work procedures, potential hazards, and other relevant topics to ensure that all workers are informed and aware of safety protocols and best practices before starting their tasks for the day. During a 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙗𝙤𝙭 meeting, the team gathers to review a range of subjects, including: ☑𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔: Discussing potential risks associated with the day's tasks and reviewing safety procedures to mitigate those risks. ☑𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔: Explaining the correct methods for carrying out tasks, using tools and equipment, and following established guidelines to ensure quality and safety. ☑𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒔: Reviewing emergency procedures, such as evacuation plans, first aid measures, and communication methods in case of accidents or incidents. ☑𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔: Sharing information about any recent incidents, near-misses, or lessons learned to prevent similar occurrences. ☑𝑻𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒔: Ensuring that tools and equipment are in proper working condition before use and discussing any maintenance requirements. ☑𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 (𝑷𝑷𝑬): Reinforcing the importance of wearing the appropriate PPE for the assigned tasks. ☑𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 : Addressing any changes in work plans, updates on project progress, or communication-related matters. ☑𝑸&𝑨: Providing an opportunity for workers to ask questions, seek clarifications, and share their insights. 🅣🅞🅞🅛🅑🅞🅧 meetings serve as a proactive approach to fostering a culture of safety, knowledge sharing, and open communication within engineering teams. Safety is a very interesting profession. A safety engineer has many responsibilities and duties. He is constantly engaged in protecting people and the environment. So their importance is immense. (1) Without being a doctor we treat first aid injuries. (2) Without being a Police we do investigation (3). Without being an engineer we do engineering. (4). Without being a MBA we concern about management. (5). Without being an artist we perform every in morning show which is called Tool box talk meeting. (6). Without writer we write poem and draw posters. (7).A safety engineer also works as a document controller. (8). Without being a social worker we do social work (like arrange resting shelter, smoking areas, Drinking water facilities, Medical treatment, accommodation etc. (9). The main thing is we give a best covered to all departments science, commercial, Human Resource, administration, arts, and management. We implement, We update, We Taking Care, We Save Life's,. I think a person in the Safety Profession is a warrior, a soldier, a servant. People who are working hard for the welfare of people and environment will be well . ZERO ACCIDENT IS OUR TARGET.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝? In the world of engineering, safety is a fundamental priority. Every engineer, regardless of their specialisation, is trained to consider safety as a crucial aspect of their work. So, why do we still need dedicated safety engineers? Here's why: 📌 Expertise in Safety Standards: Safety engineers are specialists who stay updated with the latest safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Their expertise ensures that every project adheres to these guidelines, minimising risks and avoiding costly compliance issues. 📌 Proactive Risk Management: While all engineers aim to design safe systems, safety engineers are trained to expect potential hazards and implement preventive measures. Their focus is not just on fixing problems but anticipating and mitigating them before they arise. 📌 Specialised Training and Skills: Safety engineers possess specialised skills in areas such as risk assessment, safety audits, and incident investigation. Their training allows them to identify and address safety concerns that might be overlooked by other engineers. 📌 Dedicated Focus: In complex projects, the number of technical details can sometimes overshadow safety considerations. Having dedicated safety engineers ensures that there is always a focused and unwavering commitment to maintaining high safety standards. 📌 Enhanced Safety Culture: Safety engineers play a crucial role in fostering a safety-first culture within organisations. They provide training and raise awareness, empowering all team members to prioritise safety in all tasks. In conclusion, while safety is a shared responsibility among all engineers, the specialised knowledge and focused expertise of safety engineers are indispensable. What do you think is the main benefit to having dedicated safety engineers? #SafetyEngineering #Engineering #SafetyStandards
