Enterprise #generativeai feels new, yet as my co-authors and I discuss in “AI for GCs: What You Need to Know for 2024”, we are already warning against the risk of #overreliance. In our report, we identify four biases that arise from overeliance on #ai (automation bias, confirmation bias, ordering effects, and overestimating explanations) and describe how to mitigate each one with a systematic framework for AI use. We also share an update on the #legal landscape for AI in 2024. Implement AI with confidence by creating guardrails for your organization. Check out our report below to learn more👇 PS follow my co-authors Matt Todd, Adam Garcia, Catherine "Cat" Kozlowski for the latest updates on AI.
“It is impossible to ignore the impact generative AI has had on everything from technology to privacy and intellectual property considerations in the past year. But while AI was a dominant news item, it was certainly not the only development that clients should take note of," said Technology Transactions & Data Privacy Group Chair, Gregory Kratofil Jr. Get the latest developments regarding data privacy, cybersecurity and technology developments affecting companies and organizations in our fourth-annual Tech Transactions & Data Privacy Report: https://lnkd.in/gWK9Thij #techtransactions #dataprivacy #technologylaw

With the rise of AI and the collection of vast amounts of data, privacy has become a major concern. Customers find themselves under constant surveillance, and their personal data is treated as a commodity. The consolidation of this data into centralized storage systems also increases the risk of security breaches. Yesterday, The Washington Post, The New York Times and other major news outlets reported on the burgeoning industry dedicated to compromising institutions that aggregate vast amounts of data. In the past two years alone, there have been 2.6 billion compromised personal records due to data breaches. At Safehill, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right that should not be restricted to a select few. We are working towards making privacy accessible to everyone, ensuring that you have full control over who has access to your data, at any point in time. https://lnkd.in/e3i87CBs https://lnkd.in/d3jRtB4B
