The Funded Trader: A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing I'm compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with The Funded Trader, a company that thrives on deception and empty promises. While their social media presence paints a picture of transparency and customer-centricity, the reality is far from it. My journey with The Funded Trader has been marred by technical glitches, unresponsive support, and a blatant disregard for customer concerns. Despite their claims of being a supportive partner for traders, they've proven to be nothing more than scam artists who prey on unsuspecting individuals. Here's what I've encountered: Technical Issues & Unresponsive Support: A platform glitch led to the wrongful termination of my account, and their support team has been utterly useless. Emails go unanswered, tickets are ignored, and generic responses are the norm. Social Media Deception: Their carefully curated social media presence is a facade designed to lure in new victims. Their claims of transparency and customer care are a smokescreen for their fraudulent activities. White-Collar Scam Artists: The Funded Trader's business model revolves around exploiting aspiring traders. They create hype, make promises, and then abandon their customers when things go wrong. I urge all traders to exercise extreme caution when considering The Funded Trader. Their charming social media presence is a deceptive mask for their true nature as scammers. Don't fall victim to their empty promises and manipulative tactics. If you've had a similar experience with The Funded Trader, I encourage you to share your story. Let's expose their fraudulent practices and protect others from falling into their trap. #TheFundedTrader #ScamAlert #TraderBeware #FraudulentPractices #DeceptiveMarketing https://lnkd.in/gQiq7taJ

Be Alert: Do Not Fall Prey to the "Pig Butchering" Scam! I wanted to make you aware of a growing online scam known as "pig butchering." This scam targets individuals through online dating apps and social media, often creating a sense of trust over time. Once a connection is established, scammers lure victims into investing in fraudulent platforms, promising high returns. These platforms are often manipulated to show fake profits, further enticing victims to invest more. What are the signs? - Romantic Connections: Scammers may create fake profiles on dating apps or social media, showering victims with affection and interest. - Shifting Focus to Investment Opportunities: The conversation soon shifts towards investment opportunities, often presented as exclusive and lucrative. - Pressure to Invest Quickly: Scammers often create a sense of urgency, pressuring victims to invest without proper research. - Fake Investment Platforms: Victims are directed to invest in seemingly legitimate platforms that are actually controlled by the scammers. - Difficulty Withdrawing Funds: When victims attempt to withdraw their investments, they encounter various obstacles and delays. How can you protect yourself? - Be cautious of online relationships that quickly turn into investment opportunities. - Never invest in platforms or opportunities that you haven't thoroughly researched. - Don't feel pressured to make quick decisions about financial investments. - If you suspect a scam, report it to the authorities and relevant platforms. Sharing is caring! Let's work together to spread awareness and protect ourselves and others from these harmful scams. #pigbutcheringscam #beware #scamawareness

As a content creator and a consumer, I'm deeply disappointed with Uptownie. Not only did they fail to deliver on their promises to customers (including myself!), but their business practices are unethical, to say the least. Here's what happened: • I ordered a product and created a reel to showcase it. • Uptownie used my content in ads for 2.5 months without my permission! • When I contacted customer support, they were unhelpful. Their co-founder, Shivani Agarwal offered no fair compensation and acted like a lawyer, dodging responsibility. • I emailed them for 2 months with no response. Legal notices sent by my lawyers were also ignored. • Frustrated, I took to Instagram to warn others. Shockingly, Uptownie restricted my account and then the co-founder blocked me when I commented from my personal profile! • They're even deleting negative comments on their page and blocking users who are talking about their experiences. This screams unprofessionalism and potential scamming. Priyanka Agarwal Content creators and customers, BEWARE! Save your money and avoid Uptownie. Share this post to spread the word and protect others. #UptownieScam #UnethicalBrand #SupportContentCreators #BoycottUptownie

Scammers on the loose — Uptownie and its co-founders Priyanka Agarwal and Shivani Agarwal ‼️🚨 On March 18, I purchased and prepaid 1500 INR for two products (Order#219382) from their website. I was promised a product delivery in 4-6 days. Yet, after 12 days, the founders, the Uptownie team and the company in general has failed to respond to the undelivered products. Despite multiple mails and messages on Instagram and LinkedIn they maintain complete silence. What’s worse- their company is being flagged as scam/fraud all over Google yet Instagram algorithm and their ads are promoting this scam. After official intimation to the company last week, I am left with no choice but to take Uptownie and personally its co-founders to the Court of Law in New Delhi, file a cyber crime case against the company and its co-founders, and intimate the same to Reserve Bank of India. A word of caution to everyone who believes in what they see — do a due diligence. Such people are running a scam in the name of Make In India. Save yourselves from these scamsters. 🚨😑 I couldn’t, but I will not spare them either. #India #Retail #ConsumerProtection #Legal

Scammers steal money from lots of people every hour. I’ve been following Pierogi for some time now. At the start, he was alone, fighting them. Now, he managed to put up a massive operation against scammers. To tell you very shortly how these scammers operate: They use a thing named trial and error. They send a bunch of emails as a fake Amazon/paypal/Microsoft trying to say that the target has issued a refund or anything that is related to money (a false charge, false Amazon orders…, etc.) the targets are mostly bought from dark net. Then, once they reach the victim, they get them on a call and try either to gain access to the bank accounts or ask for funds via amazon gift cards, crypto and so on. The victims are usually older people, or people that aren’t tech-savvy. They reach the victim’s account by installing a remote software like AnyDesk. Once they reach the victim’s computer, they do a thing by modifying the html in the app really quickly showing a bad refund in their account or other weird stuff. For non-tech people it will look like that really happened… Watch the operation here and thank Scammer Payback for all the hard work. Could you give him a follow?

Awareness is key to unlock the world of S_ _ _ _! 🔑 Do you guys remember playing the game Werewolf (or Mafia)? It is a party game where players are assigned roles as werewolves, villagers, or special characters. The werewolves must bluff to avoid being identified by the villagers during the day. Somehow, we are all in a real life game of Werewolf. In this game, there are people who will "murder" others through scams which are created from dubious ads on facebook, fake delivery charge texts, fake unauthorised transaction on your bank account only to have you downloading their malware or inputting your details into spoof links! Why "murder"? All or even some of your hard earn money will disappear, just 👏 like👏 that👏. PLEASE DO BE CAREFULL!!! 😱 because if you do get scam, only 66% of those who were scammed receive goodwill settlement offers from banks. And, in case you do not know what goodwill settlement means: goodwill settlement typically refers to an agreement between two parties, often a consumer and a business, where the business agrees to accept a lower payment than what is owed to settle a debt. This reduction in the amount owed is considered an act of goodwill on the part of the creditor. 💰 So for this year, here's 3 resolutions you can make for the new year to not become victims of scammers: 1) keep up to date with the news 📰 2) don't respond to ads from unknown merchants on social media 💻 3) never be tempted by good deals, free gifts and sure-win investments 🎁 (adapted from the article!) Remember, you are your best hope in handling your money 💵 And if you need ideas on how to handle and potential make your money work harder for you, feel free to drop a DM! ❤️ #financialgoals #financialconsultant #financialadvisory #financegoals #financialfreedom #scamalert #scam #scamawareness
