Today, is the second day of the International Conference on Off-grid Solar Systems: Towards sustainable and scalable business models. Yesterday we heard about two different electrification models with SHS: market and regulated approach. The equipment driven market and the service centered market. Two ways of considering the universal electricity access for the last mile.

This shows how SMA products can help support the grid in Australia. For Hydrogen projects the SMA Power Converter for Electrolysers will also improve the grid connection so that these large loads don't create instability on the grid or reduce the performance when off-grid.

📰 | Virtual power plants are vital components in a grid powered by renewable energy, but the challenge is in consumer adoption, explains Deakin’s Associate Professor Josh Newton.
