"Iftar" is an Arabic word that refers to the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset. During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, abstaining from food, drink, smoking, and other physical needs. In A TEAM context, iftar can hold special significance. It can represent a time for colleagues to come together, break their fast, and share a meal after a day of fasting. This can foster a sense of camaraderie, unity, and empathy among team members, regardless of their religious beliefs. It provides an opportunity for colleagues to connect, bond, and support one another, reinforcing teamwork and a sense of community within the workplace. Additionally, it may promote understanding and appreciation of different cultural and religious practices among team members. Overall, iftar can serve as a meaningful and inclusive gathering for teams to strengthen their relationships and solidarity. #iftarramadhan1445h #togetherwecan #ramadhan1445h

Founder - TAX CONSULTANT. I provide bespoke tax advice and solutions for individuals, landlords and business owners! 😊
Muslims have two festivals/celebrations each year. Eid straight after Ramadan (29 or 30 days of fasting) and Eid we will celebrate tomorrow, after something known as 'Arafah' (which is today). Arafah is a religious and virtuous day for us too and again, fasting is recommended. So both of our annual celebrations effectively come after a day of worship and fasting/self-restraint. And I was reflecting from a general life perspective. You enjoy something a lot more or gain greater enjoyment and satisfaction after sacrifice or going through something difficult. This is a known concept. If everything was just easy etc then there would be no such thing as enjoyment or satisfaction. [Ask those that have everything easy they want in life yet still waking up depressed.] Therefore, I actually enjoy fasting* the day before the two Eid celebrations because I KNOW for sure, that tomorrow, I will enjoy excessively 🤩 (more than normal)... and actually feel really good about it. 😁😎 Like many a time, if I refer back to business, I'm relaxing/chilling (a bit too much 🙈😂) but deep down feeling bad about it because 'I didn't really get much work done today'. How many of you have felt like that before? Don't lie! 😂 and then the opposite is true. When I make extreme, consistent progress, then I enjoy more than I usually would! Life is all about satisfaction. 😁 A key concept I keep back of my mind is: nothing truly worth having in life comes easy. Have a great day all. 💙💯 Look out for my Eid Mubarak post tomorrow from beachside. 🇸🇦🥳 ASWATAX #religion #islam #life #business * the health benefits and detox that I definitely require too! 😆 👇 my daughter attends a weekly Art class here in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Art 🎨 🖼 is quite a thing out here - locations all over the place dedicated to such matters and long waiting lists too! I was surprised to know of that... PS we realised straight after the photo that there is no need for her lunchbag to be seatbelted 😂
