As a neurodivergent individual, this really hit home. Being neurodivergent is a super power 💪🏻 I don’t often talk about this, but it’s something we need to more in our society … I’ve often found that the things society frowns upon - like hyper sensitivity, empathy to sometimes a debilitating degree, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, all make me a better leader and better at connecting with other humans, especially at my professional role as a fundraiser. Connection is a fundamental human need. When you feel deeply and think “differently,” you really see and feel the humanity in all of us and forge strong connections to those around you. These are things to embrace, not push away! Don’t be ashamed for being neurodivergent! Let’s praise and respect it! It’s also often those individuals who make the biggest difference in the world❤️

JT said it best. "You can’t make a difference unless you’re different." Creating a culture of neuroinclusion is not just a social responsibility, it's a strategic investment in the future of work. With an estimated 15-20% of the world's population exhibiting some form of neurodivergence, this diverse group of individuals possess unique strengths and perspectives that can significantly benefit companies, and society at large. This was the first thing that caught my eye in the waiting room and i thought it was worth sharing for all my neurospicy people 🫶🏻” 🎥 @grace8ruce via Instagram
