using a specific frequency in an exhaust stream of an internal combustion system engine can be a phat raise as it's a two fold economical benefit # REDUCTION IN PRECIOUS CATALYTIC RARE EARTHS #carboncapture
This week, I’m in Davos representing Volvo Cars at the annual World Economic Forum meet-up. We believe that car makers need to lead the transport industry’s clean transition and develop strategies toward carbon neutrality and more sustainable mobility. We’ve recently refreshed our sustainability strategy to meet the challenges our world faces. We’re focused on reducing our CO2 emissions per car by 75 per cent by 2030, including through embracing circularity, on the way towards emitting net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. Our industry has a long way to go, but the sooner we tackle these challenges head on, the better. #wef24

Experienced Drayage Specialist. Mastering NY/NJ Port Logistics Driving Efficiency in Container Management and Supply Chain Optimization
Happy New Year!!! I'm going to start the new year talking about sustainability in drayage! 🌿🚚 Drayage is the process of moving cargo containers between ports and their hinterlands, usually by truck. It’s a vital link in the global supply chain, but it also has a significant environmental impact. Drayage trucks, often diesel-powered, emit greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming and air pollution. This affects not only the health of our planet, but also the health of our communities and ourselves. That’s why I believe we need to adopt more sustainable and eco-friendly transportation solutions, such as renewable diesel, electric trucks, or hydrogen fuel cells. These alternatives can reduce emissions, save fuel costs, and improve efficiency. They can also help us comply with the environmental regulations that are becoming more stringent in some regions, such as California. But sustainability is not just about the equipment we use, it’s also about the process we follow. One of the most innovative and effective ways to optimize drayage is to use SmartStacks, a proprietary version of the “peel pile” process developed by IMC, the largest marine drayage company in the nation. With SmartStacks, the containers of multiple shippers are placed into the same peel pile. Using IMC’s app, drivers can instantly see the container’s destination and choose to deliver it to its final destination or bring it to a nearby IMC depot. This way, IMC can triple driver productivity, eliminate wasted lifts, and make cargo more accessible. SmartStacks is not only a smart way to move cargo, but also a smart way to move towards sustainability. By reducing the number of trips, lifts, and miles, SmartStacks can lower emissions, fuel consumption, and congestion. It can also enhance the cargo experience for shippers, drivers, and end users alike. This is only way to push sustainability forward. Let's make moves that matter! 💪🏼 Share your thoughts, experiences, or drop a comment about how your company is crushing it in the sustainable drayage game. Together, we're not just moving containers; we're moving towards a greener, brighter future!

Today is #EarthDay, and to celebrate we’ve published a new blog which looks at our many sustainability projects around the world. I’m proud to say that these include several amazing projects in Europe – from training 3,000 students to fight climate change in Spain, to funding the world’s first commercial-scale seaweed farm between wind turbines off the coast of the Netherlands – and closer to home, the restoration of 500 hectares of Atlantic blanket bog in the west of Ireland, benefiting the climate and biodiversity. At Amazon we know that our scale comes with responsibility — that’s what drove us to co-found the Climate Pledge, our commitment to become net-zero carbon by 2040 across our operations. And as citizens of Europe, we also believe that the Single Market can be harnessed to create green growth and skilled jobs, to accelerate innovation, and to develop world-leading green technology. https://lnkd.in/eT37HTFg

Every small step makes the future differnetly. Yes we are watching and observing the global warming issues, and as a traditional bicycle key components manufacturer, what are we going to do? It’s tough and it’s simple. Stop using plastic, stop using stews or stop wasting energy are so simple thing to do and every time you stop, it really help our Earth and the only one better! Thanks for the article from #bikeeurope it shows how we do in Taiwan on the sustainability and why we join the #BAS alliances so we can work together to reduce waste, extend life time of products and think green from the design steps. Here is the article link, it will help you to understand much better what we are working on #ESG #sustainability #carboncredit https://lnkd.in/gnFfyWT5

Did you know that one bus on average removes 30 cars from the roads? 🚌🚗 At the same time: 🚦It helps tackle the rising traffic congestion we see on all our roads 🚌A bus emits 81% less CO2 per passenger kilometer than a car does 🌬️It helps boost air quality in cities taking so many cars off the streets 😊And, it is just a good experience not having to stress about driving yourself when you go to another city. Just sit back, relax, and get where you want to go - no trouble. We recently released our first-ever ESG report, and in it, you can read how Flix passengers avoided more than 800,000 tons of CO2 by picking buses over cars. 🌿The time has come to grow out of the old car-based approach and take on a collective mindset, for the sake of a healthier planet, a richer community, and a happier society. The world-car-free day might have been last week. But let’s make every day a little less car-dependent and we can make big strides towards a greener future.
