Texys Group’s DNA is to offer high-end #sensing #technologies, with the most compact packaging, designed to withstand the most extreme conditions. In this light, we are proud to offer a wide range of measurement solutions, in particular our high-performance #optical #sensors. #Embedded by design OPTEL-TEXYS sensors are designed for the on-board analysis of rotating phenomena. To perform complex analyses on rotating parts, using fiber optic angular velocity sensors from the 152 series is your best bet. We want to highlight the 152 G7-E, which has arguments that can meet your requirements for the most demanding applications. This embedded optical speed sensor can detect rotating objects by automatically adjusting its settings. Moreover, the 152G7-E is lightweight, ruggedized & compact, thanks to an anodized aluminium alloy housing. This speed sensor operates between -10 and +70°C, and has a frequency range of up to 300 kHz. It also has a special protection against brief short circuits. The 152G7-E is a top #versatile sensor which can be installed in tight spaces, designed for use in vehicles, on tracks, and on test benches. With its simple installation and easy setup, it is a very convenient sensor which will make you save a lot of your precious time. In that sense, you are able to manage the installation and distance between the sensor and the probe. Time-saving solution Thanks to its automatic & continuous adjustment, it is time-saving sensor on a bench or measurement room. This feature allows you a very comfortable adjustment of sensor. The auto-trigger & auto-adjustment functionalities are new compared to traditional Optel sensors. Additionally, this sensor provides you with a secure data acquisition. Performance-wise, the 152G7-E can adapt to many environments, it will provide detection regardless of the light level. You can also measure with up to 10mm of measuring distance between probe and target. Measurement conditions change according to the test phase - e.g. on a moving shaft, moving parts will be detected all the time. During a road or track test, the 152G7-E is ready to adapt to changing conditions. This miniaturized sensor is designed to be embedded and its optimized size makes it a tremendous asset for your on-board measurements.

Custom rotating non-contact torque/angle/rpm sensors with strain gauges. Making e-bikes safer and more fun to ride. Making EE's smarter at EE-Training. How can I help you?
If you want to design a torque sensor, pay attention to the "torque sensing metal". If you are using a good sensing technology like strain gauges, this metal defines the performance of the sensor. Putting a strain gauge on a piece of metal only measures the strain under the strain gauge. You need to design the metal to have a good conversion between the torque you want to measure and the stain under the stain gauge. This is so easy to get wrong and there are a number of considerations to make. For this reason, we designed a one-week workshop where we work with you to guide the design of the best possible "torque sensing metal" for your system. A week of design work and knowledge transfer is so much worth it. This is an example of the schedule we take you through. At the end of this, you are ready to make the prototype. Get in touch if you want to make a torque sensor. https://lnkd.in/dskC3H8n #straingauge #torquesensor #sensor

Balluff’s new fork sensors deliver basic functionality in an extremely robust design. 💪 Like all fork sensors – aka C-slot, U-slot, or self-contained through-beam sensors – these are easy to set up thanks to the emitter and receiver being integrated into a single housing. These new versions use red light to detect objects and are suitable for tough industrial conditions thanks to their IP67 rating and zinc diecast housing. Three opening sizes are available — 30, 50, and 80 mm. They are an ideal choice for users who need a photoelectric that is dependable and economical.
