On the other hand, the commitment to sustainability is stronger than ever, with initiatives like the World Economic Forum’s Target True Zero and the Clean Skies for Tomorrow coalition driving the transition to net-zero emissions. X Shore, a leader in electric maritime technology based in Stockholm, has secured €8.5 million in funding. 💵 This new capital is part of over €100 million raised since the startup’s inception in 2016. The company plans to use the funds for expanding R&D, sales, and the production of new models. 👏 The technology is completely fossil-fuel free and has very little impact on marine wildlife. The annual ranking of BusinessCloud’s EnviroTech 2024 has identified Nova Pangaea Technologies in its top 50 ranking for 2024, placed 16th out of 117 companies. The companies within the select list are deemed UK’s most innovative startups, scaleups and established firms creating original technology for green energy to protect the environment and boost sustainability, and were judged by an expert panel as well as through reader voting. Sarah Ellerby, NPT CEO, said: “It is great to be acknowledged and ranked 16th within the EnviroTech 50 ranking for 2024. The criteria and purpose of the ranking recognises our offering as an innovative technology company focused on clean, sustainable solutions to make a significant contribution to decarbonisation goals and agendas.
