This diving training system in Virtual Reality is called Subside. VR is getting ever more realistic, both in visuals and physics, meaning there's no end to the places we can explore. Where would you like to go? Check out SITE Network for more travel destinations and experiences in Virtual Reality

The graphics are super impressive! However this is definitely not a simulation. Look, but don't touch - this is one of the fundamental SCUBA diving rules. Touching, picking up and poking fish, corals and marine animals can damage or even kill these creatures, as well be dangerous for the human. Even an innocuous looking creature can have a harmful bite or sting. That could be gamified to great effect though - will this poison me? David W. Sime

Is this modelled or reality scanned , and which vr device has been used

I imagine AI being able to generate exoplanets based on the chemical signatures we measure and intelligently recreate something that might resemble those planets, and then explore them using VR.

Truly awesome. Using something like, I'd like to go somewhere snowing. Love the scenery but the cold doesn't agree with me, so VR can help with that.

That looks really impressive! Thank you for sharing, David W. Sime. I would be interested in how this VR simulation is consumed. I’ve seen some VR installations where people wear headsets during snorkeling. Is this how it is set up, or is there a special rack-like installation where your body lies dry, simulating diving and flying movements?

This one is very realistic as compared to many others I have seen. Loved the realism and view. Just that water is usually not that crystal clear as shown, probably the UX business logic.
