Here's a short Q&A with Terrence about his role. What’s do you do at Reach3 Insights and what’s your favourite part about your role? I lead the programming team and help any custom requests. My favourite part of my role is being able to touch many aspects of the business and helping to implement / optimizing innovative research initiatives.   What’s the best part about working at Reach3 Insights? The best part about Reach3 is the people – we have a great team and I love working with everyone!   What advice would you give to new employees? Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help! What’s the best part about working at Rival? 🤔 ↳This might sound like a cop-out answer because I feel like it's what most people would say, but I’d have to go with my colleagues at Rival. They are not only smart, each bringing something unique to the table, but they are also extremely kind. They are all passionate about what they do, and everyone is more than willing to help!   How did you find your first few months with the company?  ↳ I started during the pandemic, so everything was virtual. It wasn’t until 6-7 months into the job that I met anyone in person. Since we hadn’t met face-to-face, we used to play a game where we would guess each other’s height. It turned out I was the shortest on the team, even though I have a pretty average height. This is just a company full of really tall people haha.   If you have only one word to describe Rival, what would it be?  ↳ Tall… (yes, I’m bitter …). New Beginnings at Klowt! 🚀 💜 I am three days into my journey as a Social Media Manager at Klowt, and wow, I am obsessed already - it really is as great as it seems on the outside. It all started with a LinkedIn DM to Amelia Sordell 🔥 - someone I've followed and looked up to for a few years. Taking that leap of faith to reach out was nerve-wracking, but it paid off - way more than I expected Amelia saw something in me, without even a glance at my CV, and offered me an interview. Just a few interview rounds later and here I am. So, what’s the 72-hour scoop? The culture at Klowt is mind-blowing. It's a melting pot of talent, hard work, and genuine warmth. Everyone here is not just good at what they do; they're phenomenal. 🌟 Amelia's leadership style? It's about trust and autonomy. She empowers us to excel, to take risks, and to truly own our roles. And the team? They truly are masters of personal branding, they know what they are talking about and they walk the walk. I have no doubts that I am working with the best of the best. Now, for my 6-month game plan, I am setting 3 intentions: 1️⃣ Absorb and Amplify: I'm here to absorb every ounce of genius around me. I want to know 10x more than I do today. 2️⃣ Practice Makes Perfect: I’m going to practice what I preach and work on my own personal brand. Keep your eyes peeled 👀. 3️⃣ Entrepreneurial Wisdom: Gleaning insights from Amelia on entrepreneurship – a vision I’m nurturing for my future. Here's to this incredible chapter at Klowt! A huge shoutout to the team for making me feel like one of their own from day one. 💜

Whenever a new starter joins Flowd. I make sure they do 3 things in their first week. Have an intro call with each department → To get familiar with the wider team and business. Have a sit-down conversation with a Founder → To know we don’t have hierarchies and everyone is valued. Have the opportunity to discuss career pathways → To begin planning their career growth from day 1. Those first 2 weeks are so important! The worst thing an employer can do is hire somebody and then leave them to it. WITHOUT integrating them into the team. We’re growing fast at Flowd 🚀🚀 But no matter how big we get… I won’t ever sacrifice employee experience. Good culture is the bedrock of any organisation.

Is it already Wednesday?! This week, month, year has gone quickly. Am I the only one feels like this? 🤯 Things at Clevertech keep me engaged enough to not even notice the passing of time. Some of the reasons I love working here: 💛 Our Values: Freedom, Mastery & Purpose! Our culture is driven by our mission, vision and our values. It isn't ping-pong tables or free food...although we do enjoy a yearly meal offered by the company, it is much more than that it is about the day to day growth and purpose driven work. 💜 We are #RemoteNatives with a global team and have to be intentional about building relationships. It's really evident that all our people value getting to know each other. In #general channel there are weekly pictures of people meeting up IRL. 💛 You are given autonomy to get your work done and can really see the impact. Everyone is a specialist in their area and can really add value quite quickly. 💜 Our amazing clients, it's lovely to be part of something that has an impact on lots of people. I love secretly knowing the fascinating things our clients and CT teams are doing. 💛 The people, the people, the people! I can't say it anymore, our recruitment managers Victoria Pereira and Francell Steyn know how to find the most wonderfully talented people and bring them in.
