Pushing Haptics forward, one experience at a time.

I am thrilled to be attending EuroHaptics 2024, one of the most prestigious (and fun!) events in the haptics research community with my colleague from Innovobot, Manuel Cruz. This year’s conference, held in beautiful Lille, promises to be full of interesting talks, papers, and demos showcasing the latest innovations in haptics. I’m particularly proud to have organized the brand-new Art and Design track. This track will delve into the fascinating intersection of creativity and technology, highlighting how artistic concepts can inspire and enhance haptic technology. We, the organizers, hope to challenge existing mindsets and open up new avenues for collaboration and innovation in our field. Additionally, I am excited to host a workshop titled “Engineering the Unconventional.” alongside my good friends Eric Vezzoli, and Elisa Santella This session will focus on the intricacies of creating and engineering unique haptic devices, particularly on the challenges of shipping these products to consumers world wide. It’s designed for anyone interested in creating haptic technology outside the university lab, and I can’t wait to share insights from my time in industry and learn from the participants. Looking forward to an inspiring and productive conference, reconnecting with old friends, and making new connections within our vibrant community. See you in Lille!
