It has been so rewarding to bring the #CAvsHate program to Pride celebrations across the state. At at time with LGBTQ+ people are under attack at the national and local levels, it is imperative that we provide resources and support to the individuals most threatened by hateful legislation, policies, and violence. Equally rewarding, has been getting to see how different communities across California celebrate Pride and how diverse, intersectional and resilient our community is 🏳️🌈 ✌

Last week, in the lead up to the Oscars, we partnered with Nuclear Threat Initiative on a "For your Consideration" campaign reminding Angelenos, and the world, that while the film Oppenheimer is an account of history, the threat posed by nuclear weapons is very much present. In a world filled with geopolitical turmoil we must advocate for a world free of these dangerous weapons. #MakeNukesHistory Thank you to dream team Sarah R., Adam Foskey, Simon Isaacs, Yosi Sergant, Lauren Mitte Wood, Ravi Garla, Elise Rowan, Pablo A. The person in this six month contract role will focus on developing relationships and partnerships with key community stakeholders in order to advance the social impact work of our clients. Cohort Alert! “Today we are excited to open nominations for The Cultivating Repair Catalyst Initiative (a fiscally sponsored project of Amalgamated Foundation). The heart of this initiative is a participatory learning cohort made up of organizations at the forefront of practicing repair for harms stemming from colonialism and slavery in the United States. For this cohort, we are most interested in learning alongside emerging organizations and projects eager to learn how their approach relates to the many expressions of repair practiced by other communities and cultural traditions.
