Open position for a AWS Cloud Architect with experience in .net (Remote position USA)
Job Description
· Design and implement solutions based on Architectural best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
· Provide guidance on AWS Cloud infrastructure offerings to internal development teams.
· Ensure solutions are cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate .NET applications with AWS services.
· Stay current with healthcare industry regulations and ensure compliance in all architectural solutions.
· Lead the discovery and implementation of new technologies to enhance the performance and reliability of the healthcare platform.
· Additional Responsibilities:
· Develop strategic plans for cloud-based solutions, considering security and privacy of patient data.
· Work closely with the security team to ensure that all solutions adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
· Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and development teams.
· Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the platform.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma/GED
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Platform Architect in the healthcare industry.
· Strong knowledge of AWS services and the .NET framework.
· Experience with Agile development methodologies.
· Certifications in AWS architecture or similar cloud technologies are highly desirable.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS services. Strong understanding of the .NET framework and the ability to apply architectural best practices.
· Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues to provide strategic solutions. Skilled in evaluating new technologies and their applicability to business goals.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and integrate .NET applications with AWS services.
· Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and the ability to ensure compliance in all architectural solutions.
· Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to lead the discovery and implementation of new technologies to enhance the healthcare platform’s performance and reliability.
