🚨 We have automated our material flow! 🚨 Anyone who has worked in precision manufacturing knows how much time is spent searching for the physical resources required to produce a part. Gathering raw materials, tools and clamping devices can quickly become a chaotic and time-consuming activity. To gain full digital control over all physical resources and to make the process more efficient, we have automated our material flow. As a machinist, I can simply order a new pallet of materials at the click of a button. Our AGVs will then bring the pallet to the machine or transport a pallet away. Technology has been evolving at an ever increasing rate. This seems to have contributed to knitting machine OEMs having to discontinue support on machines once a given model reaches 10 years old. Replacing these machines is expensive and time consuming. Along with the upfront cost of the machine comes the down time to replace it and the learning curve for operators and technicians.
