€55 million to close the European raw material loop🔋♻️   Battery recycling is the missing link to solve the energy transition holistically. We are proud to co-lead the €55 million Series A of cylib – making it the largest round ever raised by a European battery recycling company. 🔋♻️   This landmark funding round was co-led by World Fund, joined by Bosch Ventures, DTCF | DeepTech & Climate Fonds, NRW.Venture and existing investors Vsquared Ventures, Speedinvest and 10x Founders. The capital injection will enable cylib to switch gears and pave the way to industrialization. 🛠️   cylib is commercializing nearly a decade of research from RWTH Aachen University. In less than 24 months, cylib managed to build up a full-fledged pilot-line, grew to a team of over 60 people while launching numerous projects with leading automotive OEMs and battery manufacturers.   We are excited to partner with the cylib team to industrialize their innovative end-to-end recycling process with the aim to drive the European Raw Material Ecosystem to become more sustainable and resilient.
