That's why I'm so excited to be a part of groups like Blunt Brunch, and their event at MJBiz Con this month! Highlighting the potential for women to thrive in this dynamic field will ensure its survival. 👀 It's a fact that women face gender bias, unequal pay, limited access to funding & workplace harassment. 😞 🚨 Only ~16% of cannabis companies are women-owned... and the # is decreasing. In MA & OH < 10% of businesses are women-owned. (https://lnkd.in/gqYRg2m8). Navigating complex regulations is a huge hurdle for women-owned businesses (https://lnkd.in/ggdsACqg). . . This is why we work to highlight the progress we've made -- and share growth opportunities. ⚡ MJBiz reported 39% of execs in cannabis are women, a significant increase from 22% in '21 and 36% in '19.
