Last week, our team embarked on a meaningful journey along the Cetina river in Omiš, as part of Garnier's collaborative project with Udruga za prirodu, okoliš i održivi razvoj - Sunce. Divided into teams, we united our efforts and achieved an incredible accomplishment- gathering approximately 537 kg of waste littering the riverbanks. But beyond the numbers lies a deeper narrative. Did you know: - Plastic takes up to 1000 years to degrade in nature. - Glass can endure for over a million years without breaking down. - A single shopping bag can persist for 20 to 1000 years in the environment. These facts show why we need to manage waste responsibly. Together, we can work towards a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations. For many eco-concious consumers, purchasing beauty products is tainted with the guilt of knowing that their lash maximiser or serum applicator can't be recycled. 😇 Wish-cycling won't even help with this one.
