In the background of the "switch-to-subscription-model" storm, the new VMware vCenter Converter 6.6 beta has been released. GA version will follow soon as well. By using it you can convert KVM-based Nutanix AHV and RedHat RHV VMs to VMware. RHEL 8 & 9 as source OS, and latest Ubuntu versions 22.04 and 20.04 are also supported. @everyone CSI Linux 2023.2 is now availible to download. The csilinux.com site will NOT have the new links until the website update is finished. However, here is the release document with the links for vbox, vmware, cqow2, and the bootable image. Here is the doc with links: https://lnkd.in/gdZaMd82. So right now, you have the super secret links to the new version. 😉 VMware player works well with the VMware image, so you don't need VMware workstation. If you want to use CSI with Whonix in VMware or KVM, install the Whonix VM and then add an additional network card to CSI with the host only Whonix adapter it installed.
