NSF announces the investment of $36 million in three computing projects that promise revolutionize computing and make significant impacts in reducing the carbon footprint of the lifecycle of computers. These projects are part of the NSF Expeditions in Computing program, which funds research that focus on creating transformative technologies, methodologies and infrastructure that the broader research community, industry or society can adopt. I am pleased to announce that I have joined recently the Master’s in Scientific Computing (Atomistic Stream) at Centre for Scientific Computing, University of Cambridge This unique course covers wide range of topics, from electronic and atomistic simulations to the implementation using high performance computing. I am looking forward to this new coming chapter of my life. A chapter about the transformation towards the computational realm.

New research from Rice CS PhD student David Q., and his adviser Anastasios Kyrillidis, Noah Harding Assistant Professor of Computer Science, takes a novel approach to the quantum process tomography (QPT) problem in #quantumcomputing scenarios.
