From May 31 to June 1, 1921, mobs of white Tulsa residents attacked Black residents and destroyed the city's Greenwood District, where a historic Black Wall Street thrived. Since then, the local government has transformed Greenwood into a whitewashed commercial district. We demand reparative policies and true justice for Greenwood and Tulsa's Black residents.
