As one chapter closes, another begins with exciting projects ✨️ On Tuesday, we celebrated the culmination of the Catena-X consortia's three-year journey 🎈 On a very dynamic event, here are some highlights : Niels Angel and his team’s introduction of the Product Carbon Footprint data exchange (PCF). The Circular Economy Use Case featured presentations on Digital Product Passports, the Circularity Cockpit, and the Circularity Kit, demonstrating how Catena-X enhances recycling processes by improving data quality. Julia Jeroch and Evelyn Gurschler showcased a live demonstration of Wallet & Credential Issuance in Catena-X, highlighting its functionality as an ID system🤝 We were also very proud when our CEO, Thomas Rösch went to the stage and presented the road ahead for the first Operating Company of the Catena-X ecosystem: Cofinity-X. Oliver Ganser passed the torch to Ernst Stöckl-Pukall for upcoming initiatives like Factory-X and Aerospace-X, which will build on Catena-X's achievements. Anja Misselbeck, together with directors Hanno Focken and Michael Hahn, encouraged continued contributions to the evolving data space.💯 A special thanks to Felix Limbert, Marius Pohl, Martin Galas and Julia Walter, Gerardo Garcia for attending / preparing the event and helping Cofinity-X and make it a success! #wearecatenax #CofinityX

Simple: the need to improve in multiple areas while managing costs - quality / avoiding recalls - supply-chain resilience - meeting upcoming ESG regulations Sharing the burden and accelerating collaboration accross the automotive industry by adopting the Catena-X standard which enables trusted, federated exchange of critical data along the supply-chain.
We’re one of the first clients of Cofinity-X. Only days after the successful go live I am proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership between the @BMW Group and @Cofinity-X. In an era where data steers industry evolution, this step underscores our IT strategy and the potential we see in this collaboration. As the first operating company of @Catena-X, @Cofinity-X opens the door for companies to step towards a data driven industry. We at Spherity are proud to share our contributions to the field of Identity, Trust, Data Sharing, eIDAS 2.0, and #EUDI Wallets. As highlighted in the chart below, our strategy is to blend ecosystem-specific industry #SSI #wallets with EUDI wallets for authentication, which aligns perfectly with the goals of Catena-X & other domains. Our approach involves using Identity, Credentials, and Wallets on both: 👉 #Control plane for authentication & authorization. 👉 #Data plane for data provenance. We are actively working with CGI to define mechanisms for battery passport data provenance. This collaboration aims to enable verifiers to check the authenticity of #primary #source auditors (e.g. RCS Global Group - an SLR Company) or secondary source battery supply chain aggregators & their conformity with Catena-X standards. Our experience includes: 1️⃣ EUDI-Wallet for enterprises in collaboration with Bundesanzeiger Verlag 2️⃣ Leading the Org-ID-Wallet WG in the EUDI Wallet Consortium LSP 3️⃣ Developing the first Catena-X certified battery passport 4️⃣ Members of the Catena-X SSI Working Group 5️⃣ Contributing to W3C standards 6️⃣ Engaging in Rebooting the Web of Trust to enhance SSI-capabilities Interested in the above?
