Catena-X at Schaeffler: Integrated Business Partner Management enables Collaboration in the Automotive Industry After 3 years of successful Catena-X Consortia work we are proud to announce our first GoLive. We successfully integrated our SAP Master Data Governance System with the Cofinity-X Golden Record Service. We are now ready to enrich our own business partner data with selected information that is provided by Cofinity-X. That wouldn’t have been possible without the outstanding work of our great IT team at Schaeffler and our partners from SAP and Cofinity-X. Our radical collaboration does not stop here. In the upcoming months the teams around SAP, Cofinity-X and Schaeffler will continuously integrate new features and services that realize a 360° management of business partner data by leveraging the Catena-X network effects. Stay tuned for more! Why is this such an important milestone? The Golden Record Service of Cofinity-X validates and curates any Business Partner Data uploaded by Catena-X members. Catena-X members can download the curated Business Partner and get the unique Business Partner Number for all of them, which identifies them in the Catena-X network. This ensures that all Business Partners use the same dataset and can then exchange data with each other.
