Over the past year, there has been strong demand for energy storage resources from utilities as well as C&I customers – and that surge in interest and deployment has certainly continued into 2024. 📖 The U.S. energy storage market set a Q1 2024 installation record, up 84% from Q1 2023, according to American Clean Power Association (ACP)’s new US Energy Storage Monitor report. This kind of sustained growth shows the need and interest for batteries playing a critical role on our nation’s electric grids. It’s also why our CMBlu Energy, Inc. team was proud to be part of this year’s ACP Clean Power on the Hill event to advocate for further renewable energy and energy storage investment. 🔋 U.S. President Giovanni Damato and Head of Special Projects Julie M. Royes spoke with key policymakers in Congress about the fast-growing need for medium and long duration energy storage and how continuing to fund renewable energy tax incentives, better establishing property rights for clean energy project development, and passing permitting reform legislation can help advance the larger clean energy transition. This event was a wonderful opportunity to share how we’re working with customers to advance their energy goals and also demonstrate the essential role our unique Organic SolidFlow batteries can play in making those goals a reality. 👉 Check out our team’s full write up from this impactful event about what our team believes would be the most impactful federal policy asks and how Congress can best support the battery energy storage space going forward. #Decarbonization #EnergyStorage #EnergyTransition #SolidFlowBattery #CMBlu #EnergyPolicy #CleanEnergy #ACP

Our name is American Clean Power (ACP), and we were born in 2021. ACP is the leading voice of today’s multi-tech “Clean” energy industry, representing over 800 energy storage, wind, utility-scale solar, clean hydrogen and transmission companies. Showing that there’s no “Bad Blood” between the clean power technologies, ACP united the power and resources of the utility-scale clean energy companies in order to further our shared policy goals and expedite the advancement of clean energy as the dominant power source in America. Never in our “Wildest Dreams” did we think we’d see historic clean energy legislation, which has already spurred $349 billion in investment, created 36,000+ jobs and prompted over 100 manufacturing announcements—and growing. But with long permitting timelines for clean energy projects, we’re not “Out of the Woods” yet. Because we know “All Too Well” that we can’t decarbonize our electric grid without reliable and affordable clean power. We wouldn’t want to leave a “Blank Space” in our nation’s energy needs. To “Shake It Off,” our clean power industry is committed to meeting America’s national security, economic and climate goals with fast-growing, low-cost, and reliable domestic power. Join us as we strive to make the transition to a clean grid that’s always in “Style.” https://bit.ly/3tbK3tI #TaylorSwift1989

The U.S. has far more #CleanEnergy projects seeking to connect to our power grid than utilities and grid operators can handle. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) just announced new rules and guidelines that are designed to help fix the problem. This week, Advanced Energy United's Caitlin Marquis was featured in the Canary Media Inc. story about what the new #interconnection rules mean, and what FERC and grid operators should do next so this problem doesn't further slow down America's transition to a 100% clean energy future. https://lnkd.in/gfN2cQ7M
