Last week I had the pleasure of being invited to Automation Anywhere Imagine24 global user conference in Austin. Its fascinating to see the way that different players in the enterprise automation space are positioning their value particularly as it applies to AI , LLM's and more specifically GenAI and Automation Anywhere had a strong story to tell in this regard. The combination of these AI technologies and built in capabilities they have to compose and author AI Agents and then orchestrate them with the Automation Anywhere automation platform was a big part of that story. A number of their customers showcased early work in this regard. Many people have commented that while last year was the year of LLM's and GenAI, that this year is becoming the year of Agentic AI and this certainly seems the case. Even though externally, Automation Anywhere are still known as one of the leaders in the RPA space, their portfolio has grown so much beyond this and enterprise customers should expect to see this happen with all of the players in the process and task automation space . It was also great to catch up with some friends from the past including Jason Trent, Vanessa Pringle and Jagjit Dhaliwal (JD) Thanks to Veronica Rambert, Mihir Shukla, Tim McDonough and Adi Kuruganti for the invitation and the opportunity to spend some time together.
