NY Tech Week has been a great reminder of just how weird VC + founder culture is. I love it, but the podcasts and Twitter posts really put a glossy shine on it all.

Now that I have done my first podcast I am officially a venture capitalist! Thanks to Gopi Rangan for making me sound smart.

Every year in America, more than 100,000 parents receive the devastating news that their child has a severe disability, a rare disease, or is seriously injured in an accident. I waited over an hour in line to get my medicine at NYC Veteran Administration today. Most of the other vets there were disabled and couldn’t even stand up that long. Absolutely unacceptable.
