Hi AlI, I've noticed that many Pharma, Lifesciences, and Medico graduates wish to pursue a career in clinical research because of the rise of IT culture, the possibility of working from home/hybrid work modes, higher growth, and a suitable work environment. To be a part of it, many graduates begin studying in IT-related fields (particularly CDM and Pharmacovigilance) in order to achieve their aim of working with these IT industries. However, the majority of these graduates face difficulties after completing their training because of the, 1) Inadequate technical knowledge 2) Weak interview/interpersonal skills 3) A lack of guidance when choosing the most suitable career path. 4) Poor career guidance Recently, I have received many DMs with questions on how to get an entry-level job in the clinical research domain. Let's meet to discuss this. Lets connect for the same.

Weapon of Mass Microbial Destruction ⚡ Serial Disruptor within Clinical Education ⚡ Content Wizard ⚡ Consultant ⚡ Media ⚡ Marketing ⚡ Mayhem ⚡ Clinical Sterile Processing Expert
“Do I really belong in leadership?” “What if I’m not supposed to be doing sterile processing at all?” “Am I really the kind of employee they say I am—worth firing?” “What will my friends, family, and industry contacts think of me now?” The flood of questions and disappointment pours in from every angle. And every person responds in a myriad of ways. If you’re naturally self-confident, you may be tempted to sweep it all aside, chalk it up to “haters,” and jump immediately to the next ship going a direction you want to go. On the other end of the spectrum, for those who tend to struggle with feelings of inadequacy, imposter syndrome, and the like, losing your job appears to confirm every dark thought you ever had about yourself, striking at the very core of your self-worth... Read my full article in this week's Getinge #NewSplash release here: https://lnkd.in/gYkw78wQ Professionally surviving these "iceberg moments" is NOT a foregone conclusion. But it is possible, and you can be prepared. I hope this little article helps encourage you and equip you for the experiences that every professional confronts at some point in their careers. Sales Leader at Abbott | Human-Centric Leader | Writer | Speaker | Coach | Finding & sharing the meaning of life through leadership
How do you find a fulfilling career? Well, to be honest, it's quite hard. As you start out, it's a challenge to know if you'll find passion in your career. The good news is, you can build passion. You build passion by developing rare and valuable skills that make you stand out from the crowd. Once you're good at your job, it can help you find meaning. Here are 3 tips to do this: 1. Determine your competitive advantage. - What are you good at that most other people aren't? 2. Find a market for your skills. - What do businesses need you for? 3. Obtain the skills you need. - Develop yourself through training and practice. This doesn’t guarantee a fulfilling career, but it will increase your chances. Working in med-tech at Abbott has given my career a sense of purpose. Over time, I've developed specialised skills and knowledge that are tailored to this industry. Med-tech is an exciting field where I collaborate with talented teammates to tangibly improve patient outcomes. Knowing that our products make a real difference in people's lives is incredibly rewarding. Tim Weller Dan Laycock Chase Houghton Finding your purpose is powerful. Latina Coach | Onboarding Enthusiast | Using Mindfulness to shift into a more balanced, peaceful, and calm place in business and home | Talent Management, Onboarding, Remote Workforce, DEI
Part 1: TD;LR - You're new here. You're competent, but you're in unexplored culture and values. Listen and learn before you speak and act. "The First 90 Days" by Michael Watkins was a book given to me in my first manager role 10 years ago. The book still has key points that I remind myself each quarter such as listening and learning before speaking and acting. This act of mirroring what is occurring in the company, from ways of speaking (jargon) to a PPT deck's visuals to when to schedule a meeting instead of just sending an email are all a part of our company culture. These are learned through experience, trial and error not through a training. The first quarter of the year has passed us by, and for those who started a new job in January, their first 90 days are coming to a close. But does that mean they are fully onboarded? Does the learning stop after this point? It's a question that many employers and employees alike may be asking themselves. Stay tuned for part 2 where I talk more about when the new hire phase officially ends. What lessons did you learn in your first 90 days in a new job, role, or reorg? #linkedinlife #latinaintech #latinainbusiness #latina #latinxintech #orgdev #newhireexperience #newhire.
