A patient of ours has Cigna. He had a stroke and cancer. He needs therapy and needs to replace the section of his skull that was removed. They are denying everything he needs. So frustrating. Hopefully they can find a better health insurance.

Absolute joke of a company and they do nothing but age discriminate. Applied for a position only to be told “I didn’t have enough experience,” yet I go back and look at 2 college kids were hired. Clowns. Will be filing a discrimination suit.

According to our Survey on Health and Benefit Strategies for 2024, 24% of large employers (those with 500 or more employees) now offer a medical plan option with a High-Performance Network curated by a carrier. Most often, these are plans offered by a national carrier in which the providers are a subset of the carrier’s larger Preferred Provider Organization network and are selected based on quality and cost metrics.
