Therapy is for weak people. And I'll prove it to you. You see ... People come to me. All the time. For advice. Sometimes it's about money Sometimes it's about dating Sometimes it's about life And there's a common denominator across the board when it comes to these people seeking advice. They already have solutions to their problems before they even come to me - some know this. Most don't. Now pay attention .. Person #1 Knows the problem. Knows the solution to the problem. And is only coming to me to validate the solution. Although he/she never says this. But you can sense it when he/she speaks. On the other hand .. Person #2. Know the problem. But is having a hard time gaining clarity on what exactly the solution is. Give them a little guidance and they'll figure it all out. The most important thing I do. If I miss that thing, I'd not be as effective as I should in helping them arrive at a conclusion is LISTEN. You can call it EMPATHY. Let me break it down for you. I block out time. Sit very calm and relaxed and give them my undivided attention and listen to every word that comes out of their mouth and almost listen to their heart beats. I look straight into their eyes. But not in a creepy way. I look with a "I'm with you here...you can keep going. Trust me" stare. I don't write any notes I don't touch my phone I do absolutely nothing else They understand, without me saying a word about it, that they're the most important person to me at that very moment. It makes them feel loved and heard. That's why they're comfortable to dump everything on me. All I have to do is ask LEADING questions to dig deeper into the situation of things. And I feed them back (in a constructive way), the same solutions they've directly or indirectly mentioned to me. But that's not all. I make it abundantly that they were the ones who came up with the solution and not me (especially when they start to thank me). But some of them don't believe me, haha. Why am I telling you this? You already know the solutions to your problems. You don't need me or anyone to sit with you before you can figure it out.

Traumatized women make the worst wives. It's like signing up for a lifetime of misery just because she chose to stack body counts and have multiple heartbreaks.

It's not about the exercises you do, specifically. You can pick a couple of exercises you can do with almost complete ease. Know why? It helps you build momentum. Once you're on the road, you can now figure out what part of your body you want to work on. Personally ... I chose a slightly different route. I'm not fat. But I just wanted to look fit and prolly gain some rock hard six pack abs. I knew this wouldn't happen overnight. And I'm cool if it took 18 months. I needed something I can be consistent with. So, I coined 6 body weight exercises: 50 Mountain Climber 50 Bicycle Crunches 50 Flutter Kicks 230 Pushups 50 Squats 50 Sit-ups ... together they work on every part of my body. The best part? It practically takes 10-15 minutes to finish. And I'm currently 60+days and counting. These exercises are part of me now. I'm not saying you should be me. I'm only sharing with you what I've worked for me. And hope you try it out. Best, Chikezie P.S. Do you exercise often?

What if you're GOD? In the next 5 minutes, you'll discover how and why you are one with God. It sounds wishy washy. I know. But you’ll 100% agree with me before the end of this mini essay. But first, let's look at the poem, Invictus. Done? Good. The last line means you’re the driver of your life. The truth is, you're one with God. The perception that you're separate from God is wrong. But don't take my word for it; Genesis 1:26; “… and God said let us make man in our image after our likeness …” God is a spirit. In that regard, by the word, “image” you’re the visible image (that is, a reflection) of the invisible or spirit father, so to speak. I'll break it down for you. Who do you see when you stare at the mirror? You’ll see a vivid image/reflection of yourself. And the image on the mirror can do nothing of its own volition, It takes a queue from you; It moves when you move It smiles when you smile It waves when you wave But stop staring at the mirror or take it away from your face – and the reflection ceases to exist. There is ONE reason this happens. Or maybe two. In any case, let's dissect both; Reason #1. The mirror is not a being. The mirror is but a reflector of what's in front of it. That's why for Adam to be fully functional, God breathed his spirit into him. But there's more. “Man is a being living in a body” Myles Munroe Reason #2. Free will. As much as the human being is fully functional, it could be a puppet where God dictates for it when to walk, when to eat, when to sleep and when to take a shit. But that's not the case now,is it? God gave human beings free will. In other words, he can do whatever he pleases, how he pleases and when he pleases. But I must warn you. With freedom comes responsibilities. You must take responsibility for not only your actions. But also the consequences of your actions. With that said, you are the visible image of an invisible father; experiencing life in different bodies. Simply put; man is God living in a body. I know this sounds wishy-washy. But stay with me. Since the dawn of humanity there is a truth that all the religions are in complete and unanimous agreement upon. What is this truth? “Do unto others as you want them to do unto you” God doesn't keep a spreadsheet nor calculator to record who wrongs who and when and how the defaulters will receive punishment or rewards of the deeds, as the case may be. Imagine there are 3 water bottles; A blue water bottle A purple water bottle A yellow water bottle Now on the outside, they are different colours. But when you rip off the labels, you'll see the content of the container (aka water bottle) is water. It's the same content in different containers. In the same vein … [continued in the comments]

Funny Story .. I told this dude I was going hiking And he thought I was bluffing But he decided to call the bluff 60 seconds to the hill, "Chike you're serious oooh" He said (with a shock on his face) Guess what? We spent 22 mins on the hill meditating Here's what I have to say; It was glorious! P.S. Have you ever climbed a hill before?

There's no person bad enough that there's no good in them. As there's no person good enough that there's no bad in them. It's only a matter of which edge of the sword you sharpen. And the environment in which the person is nurtured plays a pivotal role in this manifestation. My siblings and I grew up in the nastiest places in Lagos Nigeria. A place where girls sold their bodies for pennies to get food to eat and boyz blew clouds like it was nobody's business. I'm not going to lie, we didn't lack good food, good clothes and shelter. You'll agree that growing up in such a place was bad for anybody. The chances of ending up as a riff raff was exceedingly high. But my siblings and I turned out good. Why? 2 reasons. Actually 3. Our parents were good natured. Plus they nurtured us well. And of course, the grace of God. I know this because I've seen tons of kids with good natured parents and upbringings (aka nurturing) but couldn't stand power pressure. So these kids end up in the streets as riff raffs. Let's look at it from this angle; A good naturedness that was amplified with good nurturing and a tablespoon of God's grace will result in angelic dispositions of the said person. With that said, as much as society plays a pivotal role in how a child will turn up, a good or bad natured child who enjoyed good nurturing from the parents with the grace of God has the likelihood of turning up as a great adult. As a young man … How do you directly influence these factors in your favor? Number 1 is make a lot of money Number 2 is find yourself a good wife Number 3 is live in a good environment If you and your wife are good natured, and the child is nurtured in a good environment (thanks to money) plus a tablespoon of God's grace, then he/she will turn out good.

Why you don't have what you want? Maybe it's because God hates you. Maybe you're in the wrong place. Or maybe it's not your time. In any case, if you really do the work and listen to yourself, you'll figure it out. Remember, movement beats meditation.

This happens to everybody You're (at some point) terrified to act in a certain way. Because you want people to see you in a certain way ... The downside? Trying to please everyone. Now tell me .. Is that a way to live?
