agreed and signed, 90% of this usage of AI is directed to females in a sexist and aggressively mysoginistic way which is in the true meaning sexual harrasment and online image abuse which causes great mental and reputational harm to the females who are the victims of this.

3moJust an FYI for those that think to themselves, well they can just sue for copyright infringement. Firstly, we worked for months with ABC News investigations team to uncover the people behind this and it is really difficult labor intensive work to match the body’s of these women to the real women they are stolen from and track down the source. They hide in the dark. Secondly, the damage is done as soon as they are uploaded and by the time it’s traced backwards, even if you can find the perpetrators. Thirdly there are security programs available right now that can be utalised to read the meta data and refuse uploads or create content warnings on those images immediately. That is the first and minimum step we need to take in order to maintain trustworthy images and content available for visual consumption.
