#Creativity can come at you from so many angles and not least in the forum I was lucky enough to be a part of last Friday afternoon. Hosted by Dan Holt and joined by Daniel Pearson, Daniel Cushing and Liz Hatherley (Liz and I proving you don't HAVE to be called Dan to be creative) - we were attending our periodical 'Marketing / Agency' board - a round table where we each share a challenge we're facing in our business and discuss various ideas / solutions in a very open 'Chatham House rules' environment with no judgement. It helps when you're with great people you would gladly share a beer with anyway, and helps even more-so when they just happen to be shit hot in their own creative fields! Sometimes, simply stepping outside of your working norm and inviting alternative perspectives can prove so powerful and unleash a cascade of ideas and solutions way beyond expectation. As ever, I left the session enriched, emboldened and feeling better for the small amount of time invested and I can't wait for the next one - thanks to all who were there! I love how the photo I took just before our session demonstrates how different creative perspectives really can look great together - however much they differ on their own.
