CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo)’s Post

Exciting news from our office in Prague: CA Immo is to extensively renovate and remodel the iconic Danube House office building. The striking architecture of Danube House already characterises the vibrant Karlin district from afar. However, our tenants' demands on today's office buildings and spaces are changing. We take this into account through our active asset management and now also with this fundamental refurbishment, which puts people at the centre and focuses on new services, maximum tenant comfort and energy efficiency. The most eye-catching new feature will be the new balconies for tenants. Wow, we think this change makes the building even more of a real head-turner. Václav Jonáš, Managing Director at CA Immo in Czech Republic explains the idea underlying the refurbishment: „We recognize the growing demand for first class premium office spaces that promote work-life-balance and offer best-in-class design and comfort of tenants. That's why we aim to make Danube House the epitome of modern office environments within Riverside Karlín. This new building is designed to inspire new ideas, foster knowledge exchange, and support innovative working methods. The building opens up to the river and the surrounding green spaces through a variety of open spaces like balconies, winter gardens and roof terraces. In short: This will be a healthy and sustainable workspace where people love to work.” But the refurbishment is not just about the external appearance; a lot will change inside the building in particular:  - The central atrium will become the lively heart of the building with floating platforms that serve as meeting rooms, lounges, study rooms, auditoriums, a climbing wall and fitness areas.  - The integration of energy-efficient and renewable heating and cooling sources (heat pumps), advanced waste recycling will enable LEED Platinum certification and, like all CA Immo buildings, Danube House will be powered by 100% renewable electricity. - In addition, we are also implementing smart functions in Danube House, such as intelligent access controls and lifts, sensor-controlled LED lighting, continuous CO₂ monitoring and a building app with community functions. Let's be honest, it's not just the Prague business community that can look forward to this, but the whole city, right? What do you think of the plans for Danube House 2.0? We look forward to your feedback! You can find all further information in our press release: https://lnkd.in/eDfFjKka #realestate #assetmangement #development #refurbishment #esg

I'm very proud to be part of the project. Since 2022 we are working hard to have this iconic house as the "Living garden" with smart technologies and great place to work. One surprise for our clients is prepared for our clients and will rise in the atrium during 2025. First phase has been finished already - new doubleglazed facade: https://lnkd.in/dfiA4zER.
