At BRUNA, we cherish our long-term partnerships, and our collaboration with the Swedish tastemaker and creative director Hanna Schönberg is a testament to that.
This month, we are excited to present Hanna's curated selection from our latest collection. We also had the pleasure of catching up with her to talk about her summer plans and the BRUNA pieces she's including in her getaway wardrobe.
Thank you Hanna and the Patriksson Group for this meaningful partnership.

After 6 months of unemployment, hundreds of applications with very few interviews, and lots of anxiety from the job search as a whole, I can't believe I found such a great organization!
When I tell you that FarWell's approach is DIFFERENT, I mean it with my whole soul! When it's easy to be a number or just another resume, I felt seen and heard. Most importantly, they treated me like a human being and actually valued my skills and experience instead of trying to fit me into a job description. It was such a refreshing experience that I talked to my network about this organization, even before I got offered a job! I'm excited to be part of an organization whose culture embodies humility, collaboration, and accountability - all things that resonate with my personal values.
A special shoutout to my friend Kari Bloom for making my initial introduction to the FarWell team - I can't thank you enough!
For anyone still in the job search: if you need help - resume review, interview practice, an ear to listen to your frustrations, introducing you to my network, going to events - anything really, please reach out! I'm more than happy to help because I know how are hard it can be! While I can't promise you a job, I'd really like to help pay it forward as much as I can. Community is so important and I'd love to be part of yours 💙

Please join us in welcoming Corrie Schroeder (she/her) to FarWell!
Corrie comes as a people and culture advocate who leads with empathy and understanding. She believes in building relationships based on trust, deep listening, and shared vulnerability. This, in combination with her innate desire to understand people, things, and situations on a deeper level allows her to tackle large initiatives and projects from a unique perspective. She is well-known for her ability to balance the bigger picture with the task at hand as well as her level-headedness and steadiness throughout change and discomfort.
On the side, Corrie runs her own event planning business, including weddings. Outside of the work, she is a voracious reader and creative, with a never-ending stack of books in her “to be read” pile and a knack for making polymer clay jewelry. She’s also a big foodie and loves trying new foods and restaurants before trying to recreate her favorite recipes at home.

Explaining what you do for a living is probably the most common story we tell on a daily basis. And yet, so much of our identity is wrapped into just ONE facet of our identity. 🙁
🌟 This week during a meet and greet call, a client wrapped up his introduction with a smile and said, “I also do other things - like beekeeping and raising my two kids.” 🐝 👨👧👦
🌟 Last night I learned that a colleague I’ve been working closely with on #learningexperiencedesign is also an incredible singer and performer. 🎤🎶
I was moved to tears watching and listening to this video and realizing I’ve been working every day with Yasemin Arın over the past month and never knew this talented and inspiring side of her. 🤩 Watch it here: https://lnkd.in/eCNPdUTn
👉 In fact, there are SO many aspects of people we lose out on when we don’t get curious about the multiple identities they hold. When we don’t take time to reflect on people’s ✨STORIES OF BEING✨ vs. just their stories of working.
One of my favorite prompts to kick off an #online#event is “share an identity you hold outside of work” or “share an aspect of your identity most people may not know about you”.
Beautifully diverse answers typically pour in, such as:
✨ doting godfather
✨ cool aunt
✨ self-proclaimed citizen of the world
✨ writer struggling with imposter syndrome, and more.
At a time when we so desperately need more #humanizing working spaces, it’s a great reminder to us all to get curious and dive deeper into people’s life stories. ❣️

#MakeWorkHumanAgain 🧡 🧠 💸
What does that mean?
🧑🏫 Education psychology is getting this right. Kindergarteners are now getting top-shelf treatment that you SHOULD be giving your employees.
🏆 If you're a manager, get your umbrella, because the tangible results of this simple shift WILL make it rain for you. ☔
It means:
Making room for ✨STORIES OF BEING✨ in the workplace.
Treating your employees like ✋WHOLE PEOPLE🤚 with rich, nuanced lives.
Creating 🫀humanizing, personalized 🧠 workplaces.
It's simpler than it sounds - and it sounds pretty, simple, right?
Basically:
➼ If you don't make space for what's *PERSONAL* inside the room where *COLLECTIVE* #learning, action, & #productivity take place...well, you're doomed. And rightfully so. 💀🤷♀️👋
The era of "the sage on the stage" is OVER in #education . Any #educator who fights that change is going the way of the dinosaur.🦕🪦
(Same for bosses. Sorry, not sorry, folx.)
Why? Because educators and #instructionaldesign pros recognize the power of leveraging our brains' inherent desire to SUCCEED when reward, autonomy, and creativity are engaged. 🧠🏆✊🎨
The era of one-way communication, prioritization, and demand-making SHOULD be over in the modern workplace. 🛑 🔚
Nothing else is sustainable in the long run because it fails to acknowledge the complex, difficult, beautiful reality of ✨BEING ✨...something we all experience every hour of the day - INCLUDING the hours we're on the clock. ⏰💰
😤 Sound like too much work for you as a manager/biz owner/CEO/etc?
💲 Do you just want to make money from your employees' labor, time, and brilliance without doing any emotional labor yourself?
🏋♀️ Do you want to just shift that burden to them so you can collect your profits, equity, etc. in peace?
Well..bye, Felicia. 👋🦕🪦💀📉 😂
🔁 Repost or share to boost a colleague's Friday mood 😊
🧡 or 👍 if you're a complex human laboring under capitalism

As the golden hues begin to paint the trees, Denver has a rich tapestry of fall activities ready for locals and visitors alike. For those who've been working hard at Venture X, it's the perfect opportunity to bring your colleagues along and delve into Denver's autumn offerings.
🍁 1. Denver Botanic Gardens
Fall is when the gardens come alive with a new kind of beauty. The corn mazes and pumpkin festivals are a staple, but don’t miss the ‘Glow at the Gardens’ event where intricately carved pumpkins light up the night.

🍎 4. Apple Picking at Local Orchards
There’s something uniquely satisfying about picking your own apples. Turn it into a team-building exercise or a friendly competition to see who can gather the most.

Say hello to Nicola our Administrator and Executive Assistant (She keeps the directors organised) here at Sudburys.
In our latest round of Q&A, we asked...
If you could only wear one colour to work for the rest of your life, what would it be?
“I can’t pick! Bright. Bright is my colour. If you’ve seen me, you know I live most of the year in dresses of a variety of colours, just add tights and boots and the bright summer dress becomes winter proof!”
How do you approach problem-solving in your role?
“ I’m happy and comfortable enough to just follow my instincts and just ‘click the buttons’, see where the problem-solving process takes me. The worst that can happen is I make a mistake which I will then fix up. The best outcome is I will solve the problem first go at it. Either way I will have learned something, and the problem will be being solved!”
How do you like to celebrate an occasion? Do you like making a fuss or keeping things low-key?
“Depends on the occasion 😊 Sometimes low key is nice but other times it's nice to be fussed over.”
That’s good for us because today is Nicola’s birthday, so we wanted to make a bit of a fuss and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Here’s to embracing the colors of change and painting a brighter, more vibrant future for ourselves and our businesses. Happy Holi! 🌈🚀 #HoliReflections#Renewal#BusinessTransformation
Kiss, hug, shake hands? Or fist bump, bow, wave? How do YOU greet your customers the first time you meet them?
One of the joys of working in Europe is the variety of ways I get to interact with people. In Germany and Austria, I often start by shaking hands, but end the session with a hug.
In France and Switzerland, it is not uncommon for me to arrive at a training or workshop venue to be greeted with cheek to cheek kiss. This is a delicate operation, as you have to know which cheek to start with (left in Switzerland, right in some parts of France) and how many kisses are needed (three times in Switzerland, twice or thrice in some parts of France) to avoid landing your lips on someone's nose, or leaving someone hanging kiss-less!
I love this! It makes me so joyful to be able to interact with people and adapt my greeting style based on what seems to work for them.
I know that this level of interaction isn't for everyone, but that's what makes life so interesting.
What are some interesting ways that you've greeted, or been greeted by, customers at a first-time meeting?
