The second combat-ready and final Lot 1 F-15EX Eagle II aircraft for the United States Air Force heads to its new home with the the 142nd Wing. Also known as EX7, this fighter shows a tail of color to represent the home of Oregon Air National Guard Redhawks and will serve as the Commander's jet.
I worked on these for almost 20 years, by far my favorite jet.
Despite being a phenomenal fighter, it doesn't have the same stealth capabilities as other fifth-generation fighters.
Love the tail colors and what a graceful Eagle 🦅
Beautiful plane! A perfectly executed idea!
Unfortunately nothing to be proud of making weapons to bomb countries, communities, even commit genocide and execute people. The science and knowledge have been diverted to be evil and destroy rather than build and help humanity.
F15 a great, proven machine.
Beware, the Eagle has left the nest...🦅🤘. You can't beat the engineering prowess of these previous gen fighter airframes.
