With big data comes great responsibility.    The European Data Act, which entered into force this month, will ensure fairness in the digital environment by clarifying who can create value from data from connected devices and under which conditions.     From connected cars to wind turbines, it will:     🔹 clarify who can use what data and under which conditions;  🔸 ensure customers can effectively switch between providers;   🔹 make data transfer easier while preserving confidentiality;   🔸 prevent abuse of contractual imbalances;  🔹 regulate public sector access for specific public interest purposes.     The European Data Act marks a key milestone in our digital transformation journey safeguarding European fundamental rights.
