Last week, our project team at WEG Headquarters and Hanger at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, held a topping-out ceremony marking the structural completion of the building. It was a beautiful, sunny day paired with a beam signing, a celebratory lunch, and fellowship. The facility's structure is made of 6,600 yards of concrete, 900 tons of steel, and 45,000 concrete blocks! #BLHI #BuildAnythingAnywhere #ToppingOut #TeamTyndall

Meet the team building the Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Complex at Fort Novosel, Alabama. This project consists of a two-story 90,000-square-foot barracks facility with central common space, classrooms, and outdoor covered training areas. Our team has kicked off the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine project at the University of South Alabama beginning with excavation. Roughly 600 concrete piles will be driven at the bottom of the excavation once this stage is complete. Last week, our U.S. Group regional meeting tour continued in Charleston, SC. South Carolina is home to one of our regional offices along with many projects and employees. This was the perfect opportunity for this group to hear updates from our leadership team. After the meeting, our team headed to the Charleston RiverDogs baseball game!
