Now, Swiss International Air Lines is testing a new method to find the missing pieces - with the help of Swissport and Apple's airtags that some passengers use. There are rules by EASA on when airlines have to publish the roster of their crew members. Swiss International Air Lines, however, has received a special permission by Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt to publish the work schedules of their pilots later. At first glance, it seems like a strong project by Lufthansa and United to strengthen the position of Brussels Airlines as the market leader for flights between #BrusselsAirport and Africa. Two thoughts. Why was this step not taken earlier? Brussels Airlines was and is already quiet strong on the African market, but AF/KLM, Turkish Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines have also managed to capture a large share of this market.
