JT Capital Strategic Income Fund: Our Unfair Advantage 4 of 5 of our unfair advantages Our Niche - Reduced Competition We invest $3 to $7M in institutional assets and have access to the same deals as large institutional funds such as BlackRock and Blackstone, but they don’t compete with us as their minimum check size is $10 to $20M, and have a 6 month process to procure. We have carved out our blue ocean, making our competition irrelevant. #niche #competition #passiveincome #finance #marketinsight #institutionaldeals #riskmanagement #realestate

I Help Business Leaders, High-Achieving Professionals, and Family Wealth Stewards Escape the Wealth Management Industrial Complex | Founder @ Treussard Capital Management
Another important Bloomberg News piece by Laura Benitez and her colleague Silas Brown, another "not so fun" fact about #privatecredit ... Obviously *private* credit is not liquid (as the name makes plain) and selling your stake in the secondary market can be tough. It's made tougher by the fact that the fund manager (general partner) can block you from selling to a willing buyer (a competitor of theirs) if they're not "whitelisted." From the article: "While secondary sales have been increasing of late, restricted-buyer lists threaten to hobble efforts to make private credit more liquid. Giant insurance and pension firms have been piling into the asset class recently, prompting worries at the Bank of England, European Union and International Monetary Fund about how easily they’d be able to sell out of their exposure in a crunch." “We’re definitely seeing more activity in private credit secondaries as investors look to exit due to needing more liquidity, or because they realize they were overallocated,” says Madelyn Calabrese a partner at law firm Haynes and Boone, LLP" Could the move to retail be motivated by creating exit doors for over-allocated institutional investors?
