By 1992, his innovative ideas and accomplishments earned him the title of group vice president, introducing advancements like Liquid Tide and Tide with Bleach. With a balance of innovation and acquisition, Lafley ascended to the role of President and CEO of P&G in 2000. During his nine-year tenure, P&G's sales doubled its portfolio of brands.
