These past few weeks have been a whirlwind, crazy, exciting… after years of grinding building Edgecom Energy it feels like 2024 was our true rebirth. First, making it to the top 10 at Collision Conf and pitching to the largest (non-Zoom) crowd I've ever faced. It's exhilarating to stand before judges and an audience unfamiliar with you, your industry or your company, trying to convey the entire vision and idea in just 3 minutes. In the same week, I was honored to be nominated and awarded the “Energy Innovator of the Year - Canada Region” by the Association of Energy Engineers I remember sitting in a class in 2013, taking my Certified Energy Manager (CEM) course, and marveling at how much I love the energy efficiency industry and how important this field was going to become over the next decade, all of our projections were under-selling the impact that cleantech would have! I'm grateful to have a career where we help the world's largest facilities reduce energy consumption, costs, and emissions. We're just getting started! Our goal is to eventually provide every industrial facility with an all-knowing energy management copilot that will reduce costs, drive down emissions, and improve production efficiency. We're hiring talented and passionate individuals who want to work at the intersection of clean tech, energy, and AI. Come join us on this adventure! Trust me when I say we have an amazing team.
