It's about addressing specific pain points and looking around corners to delight #customers in unexpected ways. 🧠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: Before any coding or funding, AWS uses the "Working Backwards" approach. This involves envisioning a product's launch and its impact on customers, ensuring clarity and purpose. 🍕 𝐓𝐰𝐨-𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬: AWS believes in small, agile teams. No team should be so large that two pizzas can't feed them. This ensures swift decision-making and effective #communication. 🚀 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞: Invention and #failure are inseparable twins. AWS Fire Phone might not have been a success, but the lessons learned paved the way for innovations like Alexa. 🌟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬: AWS operates on 16 #leadership principles, with "Customer Obsession" being foundational. These principles guide every decision, from hiring to product development. Dustin's #insights underscore the importance of a customer-centric, experimental approach to innovation. The Coca-Cola Company enters $1.1bn strategic partnership with Microsoft 👏 The market-leading soft drinks brand has announced a five-year strategic partnership with the tech giant, with Coca-Cola adopting new technology to foster global innovation and productivity. The deal includes a $1.1bn commitment to Microsoft Cloud and its AI capabilities. The companies will experiment with emerging technologies such as Azure OpenAI and Microsoft 365's Copilot during the partnership.
