Axalta ANZ – Australia & New Zealand’s Post

Axalta are extremely grateful for the opportunity to promote collision repair trades to young women through the VERTO (Australia) EmpowerHER Try-A-Trade program! We have loved sparking conversation in schools around vehicle spray painting with the help of our paint mixing demo van and VR experience. A big thank you to Chris Durrant and her colleagues for their hard work and organisation of each visit, including the latest day at John Edmondson High

Connecting Women in Trades

It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of the EmpowerHER Try-A-Trade program for the past 12 months in partnership with the Regional Industry Education Partnership Program (RIEP)! Working alongside such passionate employers to educate young women on what it is like to work in a trade and the opportunities that are available to them is so rewarding. It is such a joy to see the students engaging with the employers, discovering new career pathways and getting excited about their future! Thank you to the employers who participated in our most recent event at John Edmondson High. Nancy Lane, Paul Mizzi & Danielle from Axalta Industrial Coatings, Matt Buttigieg, Paul Clancy & Aimee from Komatsu Australia, Craig Pendleton and Laryssa from Stowe Australia, Liam TAFE NSW Working with Heights and ADF Careers. A big thank you to Rhonda Stone and Simone Wright; working with you both on this project has been a pleasure!
