Today, we are adding a new model to Amazon Bedrock: Claude 3.5 Sonnet, a remarkable, industry-leading generative AI foundation model from our friends at Anthropic.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet outperforms the previous generation (including Claude 3 Opus!), as well as GPT4-o and Gemini 1.5 Pro in a number of important reasoning, math, multi-modal, and coding benchmarks, making it the best choice for complex analysis, multi-step workflows, vision, and analytics use cases.
Oh - and it's 80% cheaper and faster than Claude 3 Opus. Not too shabby. Let's take a closer look.
