Additionally, the weight target was achieved: the CFRP tank weighs only about half as much as the GFRP variant. I just published my research on developing safer fan assemblies with V-grooved fasteners. Traditional fasteners can loosen and cause accidents, but this new design provides a stronger hold and greater resistance.
