Vacuum bagging is a technique used in the composite industry to create a strong and lightweight material. In this process, layers of reinforcement materials (such as fiber or fabric) are combined with a resin material to create a laminate structure. The layers are then placed on a mold and sealed within a vacuum bag, which is connected to a vacuum pump. When the vacuum pump is turned on, it removes the air from within the bag, creating a pressure differential between the inside of the bag and the atmosphere. This pressure forces the layers of material to compress together, removing any potential air bubbles and ensuring that the resin fully saturates the reinforcement material. The vacuum bagging technique helps to improve the quality and performance of composite parts by creating a strong bond between the layers of material, reducing the risk of voids or delamination, and ensuring a consistent resin distribution throughout the part.

A “rare pipe” on the Russian market, but included in our “Alpha” category, is a PPR pipe with a nominal pressure of 16 (PN16) and, if we are correct in the definitions, an unreinforced pipe with a standard dimension ratio (SDR) of 7.4. The polypropylene pipe measurement factor (nominal pressure) PN has been abolished, but the custom remains, so we included the factor in the name of the pipe to make it easier to identify. 😉 PN 16 PPR pipe has a lower wall thickness, and therefore, a larger bore diameter, compared to our unreinforced PN 20 pipe, and is completely identical in geometric parameters to our PN20 fiberglass reinforced pipe. The difference between PVC line pipe and galvanized pipe The main component of PVC line pipe is polyvinyl chloride, which has good insulation, flame retardancy, corrosion resistance and pressure resistance, is not easy to rust, is easy to install, has low cost, and is suitable for home decoration and general circuit protection.
