Have you discovered your Purpose? I recently shared ways to Find Meaning & Fulfillment at Work with LVL Wellbeing and as it is the start of a brand new month, I wanted to share three key takeaways with you. Let me know which one resonates most: 👉Turn NO into knowing” - Mel Robbins. Use personal challenges and set backs as your fuel to inspire positive change. What keeps you up at night and what pain point can you solve through your product and offering? 👉”The friend test” - Simon Sinek. Ask 3-5 of your closest friends WHY they’re friends with you. After asking a few times (it might seem awkward at first, but keep going), they will say something that sheds light on how you make them feel and what you bring to their life- that special something that is your unique gift. 👉”Ikigai” the Japanese concept that brings together what you love, what the world needs, what you are good at, and what you can monetize to find the intersection between them. Each of these pathways are simply that, an evolving process and journey of self-discovery. We can take learnings from every day, and experience, even the not so good ones. What learnings will you take into the next half of the year? And how can you get closer to living your purpose? Here’s a picture of me in my favorite colour, advocating for sustainable and concious working cultures to enable People, Purpose and Performance. 💜💪 #employeeengagement #wellbeing #culture Lorna Jane The Giving Movement

Don’t get out, STAY in your comfort zone. Deep roots in comfort are a must for taking risks and writing the bold next chapter of our lives. Some things in my comfort zone are: - Predictable cycles of solitude, like no-meeting Monday mornings - Living within walking distance of the office - Saying, "I'll get back to you," when pressured for a quick answer Without such comfort, I’ve failed to start. I couldn’t face the blank page. Without such comfort, I’ve failed to finish. Brash bold moves to initiate change quickly became unsustainable. So, what must you say “yes” to and protect, no matter how idiosyncratic it sounds to others? When rough patches and uncertainty happen, what will be a source of comfort to keep doing work that matters and helps others? It's easy to confuse comfort with conformity and defaulting to the familiar. Comfort that wraps you like a blanket is essential nourishment for innovation. unconventional #wednesdaywisdom #tinyhabits #storytellingforbusiness — For a deeper dive, I wrote this essay about saying “yes, please,” to comfort zones on Substack:

Product Advocate @ Practice Better | Wellness Educator | Public Speaker | Workshop Facilitator | Host of From a Full Cup Podcast
What do you think? Is purpose a verb or a noun? Holistic business coach Julia Falci shares her insights on purpose, its alignment with values and business, and its potential evolution over time, often taking on abstract forms. Purpose, one of the 12 elements of wellness, is something we naturally gravitate toward through our work, actions, and how we serve others. Many of us experience a sense of unfulfillment and pressure to pinpoint our purpose. The focus on work, income and life tasks often separates us from finding deep meaning in life. If wondering about your purpose, I encourage you to harness your gifts, talents, and skills to serve others. Through this, you'll organically discover your purpose which is an evolving journey, not a destination. A sure sign of walking in your purpose is when you feel fulfilled, aligned, passionate, and deeply satisfied with your impact on the world and others. Let me know in the comments, what comes to mind when you think of purpose? For many people, it's difficult to establish a meditation practice because of all the "busyness" in life. You don't have time for a 45-minute daily practice? That's ok! Find moments throughout your day to be mindful. A little bit a lot is much better than a lot a little bit. #mindfulness #wellbeing #wellbeingatwork

EMOTIONAL CULTURE SPECIALIST - WORKPLACE MINDFULNESS - MINDFUL LEADERSHIP - RESILIENCE AND CHANGE - Helping individuals and workplaces to mindfully flourish in an ever changing world.
WANT TO KNOW A SIMPLE WAY TO CREATE A HAPPIER, HIGH PERFORMING WORKPLACE? Explore and make space for the unpleasant emotions that people may be feeling. Make it safe for people to express all of the undesired funky feels, acknowledge them and look at what wisdom they provide around areas that need to change or be prioritised. It sounds like a paradox - how could exploring the unpleasant emotions lead to more happiness? Here's 2 reasons 1️⃣ EXPRESSION & DIGESTION: It allows people to process those emotions safely rather than waste energy sucking them down which affects their wellbeing, performance and happiness. When people are given space to express their difficult emotions, they are more able to process them and feel supported to move forward. 2️⃣ INSIGHT INTO ACTION: It gives you insight on areas that need to change to support people to feel happier. Those unpleasant emotions are like the warning light on your organisational dashboard telling you something is wrong in your engine (that engine being your people). If you fail to acknowledge, allow and investigate your emotional culture warning signals, then at some point your organisational machine is going to breakdown. #emotions #emotionsatwork #emotionalintelligence #culture #change 👋 hi I’m lotty- I’m on a mission to help organisations build emotional wisdom and mindful resilience into how they roll, to enable them to successfully navigate this complex, frantic and ever changing world. Intentional pauses throughout the workday are crucial for various reasons. They provide an opportunity to take a breath and recharge, allowing us to maintain our energy and mental well-being. These pauses facilitate thought origination by giving our minds the space to wander and explore new ideas, fostering creativity and innovation. Additionally, intentional pauses help us refocus our attention, allowing us to prioritize tasks and approach them with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. Ultimately, incorporating intentional pauses into our work routine enables us to enhance productivity, reduce stress, and cultivate a healthier work-life balance. How do you typically incorporate intentional pauses and breaks into your workday in order to recharge and maintain your productivity? #yoga #minsfullness #OM #returntowork #corporateamerica #workerscomp
