Paige Gilbert and William Sinclair Moore, hosts of the new Audible Original “Sage the House Down,” joined Audible’s Kelley Sullivan and Brittany Jade McCombs at the #BlackCreativeEconomySummit to share their journey to create a podcast that offers a fresh and inclusive take on the spiritual wellness genre by centering Black, queer and millennial perspectives. “Sage the House Down” is the first release from the Audible Podcast Development Program, which commissions podcasts from undiscovered storytellers and provides editorial, production, and financial support, in keeping with our commitment to push the boundaries of storytelling and foster the creative community. Our second cohort of the program is currently open for applications until July 3, 2024. 📲 adbl.co/audiblepdp Reflecting on their experience, Paige and William said, “The Audible Podcast Development Program was so great because we never met anyone that made us feel ‘less than’ for never having experience in this space. Everyone was extremely supportive and excited to usher us into this space. And they actually made us feel well-equipped to do it.” Submit your idea for a narrative podcast today or share this with a friend who has a great story to tell!
