Travel back to 1998: ASML’s Veldhoven headquarters was just beginning to take shape. Our PAS 5500 platform was gaining traction with major chipmakers while the semiconductor sector rode the waves of innovation in personal computing. As the industry surged, so did our growth, both in the number of employees and in system output, leading us to expand our offices and factories into a sprawling campus. Fast-forward to today: The semiconductor field is experiencing another revolution, driven by advancements in AI, with projections forecasting it to become a trillion-dollar market by 2030. Just as before, we're committed to keep powering technology forward with you by preparing for this growth. This means sustainably expanding our global footprint, hiring and training top talent, and staying laser-focused on the needs of our customers.💡
I remember that we developed in this period with a team of ASML and Philips CFT colleagues the first Atlas Waferstage with Linear motors (LiMMS) that got further developed into the first Twin-Scan stage. Sweet memories with a great team of engineers.
I remember the construction of your first productionsite on Run Veldhoven at 1987. Our conductive floors were installed in a open surrounding, sand dwerling around, but we did it and kept the milestones. Thanks to my friend , colleague and teacher Jan van Hoof. I am still proud to be one of the first who helped ASML grow.
During my electronics/economics study, my marketing teacher asked... do you know those buildings ASML is constructing? They will be fully packed with engineers the minute those buildings are ready. As students we laughed a bit... but she was right as i experienced the first 6 years of my career visiting ASML almost daily. What a company, what a sector !!
26 years later: building 7 sees a major revitalisation. The first phase was completed last spring. Fully up to par with current workspace developments and sustainable goals. Ready for another 25 years…
I remember those days and the first use of Building 7...
I was there! ASML is an amazing gift to the world! From where it started to where it is going in the future.
Keep growing ASML. The sky is the limit. #brainport #ASML
We really need nuclear power back to unleash the full potential of all the silicon.
Was there 1999/2000. Great people, great place!

3wI started my journey with ASML in January 2000. I love the company and the people that work there. I will never leave.
