The gas running through these tubes is hydrogen, an alternate fuel source that is produced simply by decomposing water. Hydrogen is used as a fuel for power generation and logistics networks as well as a raw material for industry. It is a key material for the decarbonation of our society because it does not emit CO2.   Asahi Kasei's large scale alkaline water electrolyzer, "Aqualyzer," makes it possible to produce "green hydrogen" from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. The company has been continuing large-scale demonstration tests with a 10 MW electrolyzer in Fukushima, Japan from March 2020 to make this energy of the future available to the world.   Asahi Kasei is contributing to the decarbonization of society by promoting the use of green hydrogen produced from renewable energy.   #asahikasei #creatingfortomorrow #sustainability #hydrogen #greenpower #decarbonization #carbonneutral #netzero
