🎊 Celebrating Maia Spallino, our 2024 Lopez Foundation Scholarship Recipient. Last week, we had the distinct privilege of awarding our annual $10,000 scholarship on behalf of The Lopez Foundation to an exceptional senior at Marysville High School - CA; 🎗Maia Spallino.   From our first encounter with Maia, it was evident that she personifies the core values of our foundation: #Grit, #Hardwork, and #determination. Throughout her high school journey, Maia demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence. She has balanced a part time job, served as the ASB Vice President, led projects for the University of California, Berkeley National Student Leadership Conference of Medicine, participated in the MJUSD Special Education Department District Leadership Seal Team, and the California State University, Chico Upward Bound Program. Despite these numerous commitments, Maia maintained an 🙌 impressive 4.2 GPA.   The Lopez Foundation’s mission extends beyond providing financial support. We are dedicated to guiding our scholars with mentorship, advice, and coaching. Our aim is to inspire them to believe in their potential and understand that pursuing a university education is not only a possibility but a steppingstone to their future success.   We are thrilled to welcome Maia into the Lopez Foundation family and look forward to supporting her throughout her academic journey California State University, Chico.   A special thanks to our key doners who helped make 2024 possible: Ken Baca, Bill S., Mark J.
